Privacy policy

Tollvane is a trade name of Halvek LLC, a Michigan company. This page explains what we collect through tollvane.com and during an audit, what we do with it, and how long we keep it. Questions go to hello@tollvane.com.

Visiting the website

We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies or fingerprinting, and it shows us only totals, such as pages viewed, referring sites, countries and page speed, not individual visitors. The site has no advertising trackers or tracking cookies, and we don't build profiles of visitors. Two outside services load when you open a page:

• Cloudflare hosts the site and provides the page-view counts. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the page and protect it from attacks.
• Google Fonts supplies the typeface. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request.

The audit request form

When you request an audit, we collect what you type into the form: your name, your work email, the brand (or agency and client brand), the platforms, and, if you choose, a range for how many creator ads are live.

• The request is emailed to our inbox at hello@tollvane.com through Cloudflare's email service. Our email is hosted by Google Workspace.
• Before the form sends, a Cloudflare Turnstile check confirms you're a person. Turnstile looks at signals from your browser for that purpose only.
• If the email can't be delivered, the request is kept in our hosting logs for up to 7 days so we can still reply. Otherwise those logs record only that a request was received.
• We use these details only to reply to you about the audit. We don't add you to a mailing list.
• We keep the request in our inbox until you ask us to delete it.

During an audit

To run an audit we need read-only access to your ad account, or an export of your active ads, and copies of the creator agreements for the ads in scope.

• Access. We use read-only access only. We never edit, pause or launch ads. We ask you to remove our access when we deliver the findings, and we don't use your account after delivery either way.
• Use. Your ad data and agreements are used only to produce your audit. Findings go to you and no one else, and we don't contact your creators.
• Deletion. Your exports, agreements and our working files are deleted from our computers, inbox and cloud storage 30 days after we deliver the findings. We keep only the invoice and a record that the engagement took place.

Data from Meta and TikTok

If you grant us access to your Meta or TikTok ad account, we read ad, creative and permission information through the platform's official tools, with your authorization and only for your audit. It is handled and deleted as described above. Separately, we use Meta's public Ad Library to find brands running creator ads; that information is published by Meta and is not personal data about you.

Sharing

We don't sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with the services that run the business (Cloudflare for hosting, email delivery and spam checks; Google Workspace for email and file storage), and if the law requires it.

Your choices

Email hello@tollvane.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. That includes an audit request you sent and any data from an audit. We'll confirm when it's done.

Security

We limit access to what an audit needs, use read-only permissions, and keep client files only for the period above. No system is perfectly secure, but we'll tell you promptly if something goes wrong with your data.

Children

Tollvane is a service for businesses. The site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes affecting an active audit will be sent to you directly.
